Rize Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Üniversitesi (RTEÜ) Tıp Fakültesi Cerrahi Tıp Bilimleri Bölümü Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Anabilim Dalı Öğretim Üyesi Doç. Dr. Şenol Şentürk ve ekibi, bir hastanın karın boşluğunu dolduran 8 kilogramlık dev rahim tümörünü başarılı bir operasyonla çıkardı.
Hiçbir komplikasyon yaşanmadan gerçekleştirilen ameliyatın ardından 44 yaşındaki hasta hızla sağlığına kavuştu. Ameliyat sonrası duygularını paylaşan hasta, doktorlarına ve ekibe minnettarlığını dile getirdi.
Operasyon hakkında bilgi veren Doç. Dr. Şenol Şentürk, şunları söyledi:
“Tümörün büyüklüğü ve çevresel organlara yaptığı baskı nedeniyle ameliyat son derece riskliydi. Ancak ekibimizin deneyimi sayesinde operasyonu hiçbir komplikasyon olmadan başarıyla tamamladık. Ameliyat sonrası süreçte hastamız hızla iyileşti.”
