Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu (TFF) yetkilileri, Çaykur Didi Stadyumu’nda yapılan incelemelerin ardından zeminin düzeltilene kadar antrenman yapılmaması ve iyileştirme çalışmaları yapılmazsa stadyumun kapatılacağını kulüp yetkililerine bildirdiÇaykur Rizespor kulübüne 18 Mart 2024 tarihine kadar süre tanındı.
TFF’den alınan bilgi şu şekilde;
“Yeniden yerinde yapılan denetim sonrası Rizespor’a stadyum zeminini düzeltene kadar stadyumda antrenman yapılmaması, zeminde ivedilikle iyileştirme çalışmaları yapılmazsa 18.03 tarihinde yapılacak denetimle stadyumun müsabakaya kapatılacağı resmi olarak iletildi.”
