Valilikteki Atatürk Anıtı önünde düzenlenen törene, Vali Ahmet Hamdi Usta, Jandarma Komutanı Tuğgeneral Bilgihan Yeşilyurt, 49’uncu Komando Tugay Komutanı Gazi Sever, Belediye Başkanı Erdal Arıkan ile kamu görevlileri, gaziler ve askeri erkan katıldı.
Anıta çelenk sunumuyla başlayan törende, saatler 09.05’i gösterdiğinde siren eşliğinde 2 dakikalık saygı duruşunda bulunuldu. Törende İstiklal Marşı’nın okunması sırasında bayraklar yarıya indirildi.
